The dream of an altruistic world

The sunrise that lit the world up everyday was nowhere to be seen today.

The bees that notoriously bugged the passerby had gone still.

The conscience of people that existed just a decade ago had gone hideous.

The eyes that used to see no longer sees but judges.

The words that used to calm no longer soothes but cripples.

The soul that lives within is now lost.

It interests me sometimes to think what really did happen!

Was civilization not enough to break the already broken rules.

Or was industrialization too necessary to kill the already dead.

It isn’t a world that we live in right now.

A world where everyone cared about everything.

It just doesn’t work that way now.

Everyone tries to fit in others convincing minds rather than being a ruler of one’s own life.

Over thinking and over scrutinizing has never done any good and it never will.

The wars will become even more horrifying.

The truth will be no less than a lie.

The heart will have wept its love out.

The mind will become an empty vessel.

Its true we can’t have control over all the things.

But.

We still can control our miserable thoughts.

The dying humanity.

The fading earth.

  1. Very beautifully explained about dying humanity and fading earth by using various metaphors of sunrise, bees, heart, mind and so on.. ! ☺️

Brilliant… a bit dark and cynical though … looking forward to something as thought provoking but a wee bit lighter …👍
